Sharon Sallmen

Sharon was diagnosed with Dyslexia at the age of six by her first grade teacher. After a minimal amount of one-on-one training in the Language Arts, she was able to succeed in the classroom with little continued help. However, when her son and daughter received similar diagnosis, she decided to obtain further instruction on how to teach Dyslexic children. Sharon has been tutoring young people with similar learning challenges since 2014. She is currently working with students at Milford Christian Academy as well as local home-schoolers as a Dyslexic Specialist. It is her goal to help others understand the unique needs of children with Dyslexia.

Wendi Shadwick

Wendi became a member of First Baptist Church of Milford in 1998 and has been the nursery director since 2007. She is married to Kelly and they have 2 children: Eden and Liam.

Charles Shoemaker
President - Church Planting America

Charles Shoemaker began life in the Chicago area, converted to Christ at the age of eight because gospel-preaching churches were focused on children’s ministry. After being called to preach at 16, he earned a Bible Diploma from the Institute of Biblical Studies of Liberty University. He has earned degrees (Ed.D., M.A.) from educational institutions, including a D.D. from Midwestern Baptist College. He served as the Admin. Pastor of Trinity Baptist Church and President of their college for 15 years. Dr. Shoemaker is a frequent speaker among church leadership conferences, and he currently serves as the President of Church Planting America--a missions agency promoting church planting in the U.S. and throughout the world. He and his wife, Sharon, have been married for 45 years and reside in Jacksonville, Florida. They have two daughters and two sons-in-law (all in full-time ministry) and six grandchildren.

Mike Shrock

Brother Mike was raised in Seattle, WA. A trumpet player from an early age he attended Bob Jones University where he received his Bachelor's in Music Education. More importantly, while at BJU Mike met Lori Nestor! (his wife) While pursuing a master’s degree in Trumpet Performance at Boston University, the Lord worked in Bro. Shrock and called him into the ministry. He served as a youth pastor and song leader in his local church in Massachusetts before begin called to Calvary Baptist in Connecticut. During this time, Bro. Mike earned his M.M. from Northland, but later served on staff at Bethel Baptist Church in Schaumburg, Illinois. Most known for his time representing BJU as a staff evangelist, today Mike has been called to travel as an independent evangelist, continuing to speak and play his trumpet at ministries all over the United States and around the world.

Kim Smith

Mrs. Smith has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Education Administration from Pensacola Christian College. She began teaching at Pensacola Christian Academy in 1998, became a first-grade video teacher for Abeka Academy, and taught in the Education Department at Pensacola Christian College for several years. As an Educational Consultant for Abeka, she provides teacher training and consulting to Christian schools. A frequent writer/contributor for Abekamazing, she is the mother of two toddlers and currently serves in her local church as a Children’s Church teacher and assists in her local Christian school.

Abb Thomas
Founder - Master Clubs

In the early 70’s, Abb began a youth and children’s ministry at Highland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee under the leadership of Dr. Lee Roberson that developed into Master Clubs and Master Ministries. After twenty years at Highland Park, Abb moved the ministry to Milford to be under the direct leadership of this local church. He has now trained leaders in over 7,000 churches and continues to travel across America training teachers and writing books.

Paul Thomas

Paul Thomas is the son of Abb and Janice Thomas, founders of Master Clubs. Bro. Paul has Down Syndrome, but he does not let that keep him from serving the Lord. Over the years he has traveled much with his mom and dad helping in the ministry wherever he could. Paul has preached in many churches and nationally known conferences and continues to be a blessing to many people in the ministry. During one of our general sessions you will have the opportunity for a few minutes to hear Paul preach and give his testimony.

William Tyson

Pastor William Tyson was reached through the bus ministry of Woodlawn Baptist Church at the age of 11. He grew up at the church and graduated from Independent Baptist Academy in 1989. He finished his college degree at Chesapeake Baptist College. He and his wife Christina have been married for 25 years and they have three children. In 2009, he was voted in as pastor of WBC, 26 years to the day of his first bus ride. In 2017, Pastor Tyson started Bus Them in, a ministry that donates buses to new churches entering the bus ministry. In the last two years, 35 buses have been donated across many states and two countries and are now bringing in over 1000 to church every Sunday!

David Williamson
Vice President - Biblical School of World Evang.

David Williamson is the Vice-president of the Biblical School of World Evangelism (BSWE) and possesses a four-year Diploma in Church Ministries from BSWE as well as a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from Capella University. He is retired from the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership with a focus on distance learning. He has been married to his wife Kate for 29 years and both of his sons are married and serve in full-time ministry.

Kenn Winn
Singles Ministry - First Baptist Church of Milford

Kenn Winn was raised in a Christian home and saved at the age of 12. He received his Bachelor and Master degrees from Pensacola Christian College, where he met his wife, Joy. In 2006, the Lord moved the Winn family to First Baptist Church of Milford where he served on the pastoral staff for seven years. In 2013, the Winn family moved down to direct the mission trip ministry of Bearing Precious Seed El Paso. After residing there for three years, the Lord led them back to FBC where he is again on pastoral staff. In addition to his responsibilities associated with the pastoral staff, Bro. Kenn still directs the BPS El Paso mission trip ministry.
